Thai Yoga Massage

Traditional Thai Yoga massage is a dynamic healing art involving massage techniques. It was developed in Thailand, and influenced by the traditional medicine systems of India, China, and Southeast Asia, as well as by yoga. It is sometimes called Lazy Man’s Yoga! Thai massage involves moving your body into different stretches that resemble the asana stretches of yoga. The intensity of which is adjusted to suit you. Pressure is applied to the Sen lines along the body to clear blockages and assist the free flow of energy.
This therapy treats many conditions from back pain, shoulder and neck stiffness and pain, sciatica, sports injuries, stress, anxiety and depression. Treating the whole body on a physical and emotional level. Some of the benefits of Thai Yoga Massage:

Thai massage is performed on a futon mattress on the floor. The receiver wears loose comfortable clothing. The practitioner uses hands, feet, knees and elbows to manipulate and massage the client’s body.

Thai Yoga Massage for Sports and Injuries

Thai Yoga Massage is also an effective sports injury treatment and is excellent for sports enhancement. A flexible body is necessary for performance and fitness and Thai yoga massage can provide a full stretching package as part of a fitness program. The slow, deep, unhurried massage and stimulation of acupressure points speeds repair of injured muscles and soft tissues and restores normal function. All sports enthusiasts can benefit from this type of massage. Thai bodywork received regularly will significantly reduce the risk of injury, allowing sportsmen and women to train safely and effectively.
